Our Story

Founded by someone who’s been there.

TWYD was created by David Twiddle, a headhunter and entrepreneur who built and exited two businesses of his own before returning to what mattered most: working with families.

David grew up in a family enterprise. He knows how hard it is to step in – and how hard it is to step back. He understands what it means to carry the expectations of a name, a role, or a generation. And he’s seen what happens when leadership decisions are rushed – or avoided altogether.

TWYD was built to offer something different:
A thinking partner. Someone grounded. Someone who gets it.

Today, TWYD works with families across the UK and internationally – drawing on a trusted network of researchers, advisors, and subject specialists when needed.

We keep things close, because the work we do depends on trust, time, and really knowing the people we’re working with.
