Our Founder
David Twiddle is more than a recruiter—he’s a seasoned entrepreneur with a unique understanding of the complexities and aspirations of family businesses and family offices. As Managing Partner at TWYD & Co, David works with clients to build leadership teams that embody their values and support their long-term vision.
David’s career took off with Robert Walters Plc, and by age 26, he had co-founded Morgan McKinley, where he led recruitment for global investment banking. Under his leadership, the firm became one of the most prominent independent recruitment companies in the sector, with locations in London, New York, Dublin, and Sydney. During the global financial crisis, David saw an opportunity to innovate and launched Renovo, reshaping leadership transition and outplacement services to meet the changing needs of executives. Later, with TWYD & Co, he came to focus on bespoke leadership solutions for family enterprises and founder-led businesses.
Having grown up in a successful family business, TWYDALE (hence the name TWYD), and led two significant exits himself, David brings expertise and insights well beyond recruitment. His experience spans leadership strategy, talent development, and handling the unique dynamics within family enterprises. Today, TWYD & Co reflects his commitment to building a world class leadership solutions business that understands and respects the priorities of family enterprises, delivering solutions that drive success and preserve legacy.
