On paper, governance was sound. But in reality, key decisions were being made elsewhere.
Family members were making big calls via WhatsApp. The senior team were often left out of the loop. Non-execs were unsure where they stood. It wasn’t intentional — just habit.
TWYD was brought in to name and resolve the issue.
We mapped how decisions were really being made, interviewed key players confidentially, and showed where informal influence had overtaken formal process. Then we ran a governance workshop focused on trust, role clarity, and communication.
The WhatsApp groups still exist. But they’re no longer where the business is run.
“You helped us see how decisions were really being made. You put a proper framework back in place without creating a fight.”
